Confused about mikernet
Well, I go to caracas all the day, a generator in my town explodes while im out and it gets a 6 hours power outage. my ip changed and I msg hynes to change it. well he didn’t, so mikernet was down all the day, i thought that merging with ghostnet was a great idea so i told hynes about it, but he got pissed off and didn’t update the domain, so what’s the point of running that if the domain isn’t even working?.
I thought “well ok, i can ignore hynes’s mood and just wait till he updates the domain”, but he didn’t and then he tells me that he doesn’t need my help and he gives me a link where he tells me to fuck off and to not hang around there, ok, i did and merged with ghost.
Now he comes and tells me to delink, but now i’ve done it, im still pissed off, now i dont feel good running the network for him as long i cant do anything with it.

Hey Tecno… I was at school when you messaged, terribly sorry, you know, getting an education and all. I didn’t change it because i was 5km away from my keyboard.
You asked what I thought about the ghostnetwork link, and I told you I didn’t really want it to happen, because I finally got my hands on a decent server that I could use to run another MikerNet leaf.
I changed the DNS entries, but I joined your server to find Maglev the only other idler in there. I quit, asked you why, but you’d gone afk. Fair enough, I’ll just wait. However, when you got back, you just said “oh no one wants MikerNet, I’ll just turn off the IRCd.” Yeah man, no worries, I’m sorry that Mike didn’t give you all his passwords and shit to the account where his domain is registered.
You ignored no “moods” dude, I updated as soon as I read Ghost’s rants and everything you linked me. I got angry because you’d turned of the IRCd without so much as a word from me. I did come and tell you to delink with Ghost because I thought you were still all for MikerNet. (And I’d spent the most part of my day VNC’ing my server from school setting the bastard up)
But no, you’re more interested in running a leaf for Ghostnetwork now. I don’t care, Tecno, I just don’t give a shit anymore. Go for it, continue running it, mikernet.org expires soon, and at the moment it’s pointing to 0.0.0.0.
It’ll stay that way.

O.K. first off you james had told tec that you were going to run mikernet and didn’t need his help even before I had suggested that tec could link with me if he desired. Miker left you in control of the dns and it was up to you to grant accesses to the admin. There has been numerous times where you have abandoned mikernet over pointless things. You were also gone for over 24 hours and when tec asked you to update that was when you gave him the brush off. Tec and alot of other people have fought hard to keep the network alive when noone else would, even you. Miker is also under preception that you have been running a server this whole time which is a damn lie. Ghostnet and mikernet have fought to keep this silly network war thats been going on for quite sometime and ones like you are only tring to fuel the fire. All you have wanted from the first time mikernet went away is to take control of it, and now it’s all your so enjoy.

Nah, I didn’t. After Tecno pasted me the link of you ranting about switching networks is when I said I’d run it myself.
You guys are under the wrong impression, and I don’t really care.
MikerNet is dead, it wasn’t my doing and I’m not about to accept responsibility. Your fuckass impatience was what caused it, not my inability to change the DNS when asked.

Well god damnit. Is this how it ends? Eh, don’t I have a say in what goes on with my network? Bah. Whenever I manage to get back online for good, there’s going to be hell to pay. Thing is, I don’t care who/what caused this bullshit, but I swear to Christ that I’m not going to let my network die over some petty fucking squabbling! Sigh. Anyway, yeah, when I get back the DNS will be back under my control and my server/services will also return, and then Tec needs to decide where his loyalties lie. Simple as that.
