Gens
Finally!, found a nice Sega Genesis emulator with a working gui to make changes in the joypad setup 
it’s name is Gens, works like a charm and uses sdl, so I got a rom “Sonic the Hedgehog” and opened it, somehow, I got a weird image :S
I think it’s just because I got a shitty rom that wasn’t properly cracked/modded or that kind of crap, so I got another, and yay.
For those who want to try it, you could get it from cvs, doing the following steps:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gens login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/gens co -P GensForLinux
export CC=/usr/bin/gcc-3.4
and then all the crap… (configure, make, make install)
